Specs: Scott holds BS and MS degrees in civil engineering from Brigham Young University. He also holds a minor in business management. Scott is a licensed SE and/or PE in 41 states. To complement his engineering experience, Scott worked as a carpenter early in his career working on both residential and commercial job sites. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California, an allied member of American Institute of Architects, a member of the international Council of Shopping Centers, an associated member of the Building Industry Association of Orange County, and an Executive Committee Member of the South County Management Society.

On the Job: Scott is a partner in the firm and oversees Wright’s Structural operations in California- as well as IT for the company. You are likely to see him out at trade shows and conferences creating loyal and mutually beneficial relationships for Wright Engineers.

After Hours: Scott loves all things connected to his family, building stuff, and the great outdoors. Scott and his wife, Annette have two daughters and two sons ranging from elementary to college age. He loves spending time outdoors with them whether on a kayak or camping or hiking or just enjoying an ocean sunset. A true engineer at heart, Scott loves to build and create. Woodwork, metal work, construction- it is all good. He restored his high school car- a 1966 mustang convertible and is currently finishing the restoration of a 1964 Jeep CJ-5 that belonged to his grandfather.
