Hope Family Housing project in Buena Park celebrated in their grand opening in May. Wright Engineers' Scott Jones, Liz Cera, Mike Echaves, Starrli Flake, Cara Tashjian, and Jaxon McCloy attended the opening ceremonies. "It was great to see how our hard work benefited the community" commented Cara Tashijan, Wright's project manager. Wright Engineers was presented with an award of appreciation for our dedication and efforts towards the construction of Hope Family Housing.

Now completed, the 16 units will serve as long-term transitional housing for homeless families. The facility is designed to provide a final phase of transition for homeless men, women and children. The primary focus of the program which is sponsored by Orange County Rescue Mission is to provide hope through an environment of independent living with supportive services. The organization has completed 41 developments since 1989.

Wright Engineers is proud to have donated all Structural engineering services for the project. The collective charitable contributions of all the companies involved in the design and approval process amounted to donated design fees totaling over half a million dollars.
