Construction is well underway for a 120 bed behavioral health hospital in Reno, Nevada. The 81,000 square foot two-story addiction and psychiatric facility will serve the communities in northern Nevada and those bordering in California. In2It Architects of Las Vegas is the project architect. Wright Engineers provided structural engineering services. The hospital is expected to open this summer.
WRIGHT ENGINEERS STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
Our congratulations to Alison Marilyn Simpson, this year’s recipient of the Wright Engineers BYU half-tuition scholarship. Alison held a near perfect undergraduate GPA while working 20 hrs. a week, and is currently pursuing an MS degree in civil engineering with structural engineering emphasis. She is the third of eight children, four of whom are also currently in college. Wright Engineers’ BYU Half Tuition Scholarship is awarded each year to a senior or graduate civil engineering student whose emphasis is structural engineering.
