1,455 STAIRS, 108 FLOORS, $8,800 RAISED
On Sunday February 24th, over 1,000 climbers from all over the globe raced up 1,455 stairs to the 108th floor of the Strat Tower in Las Vegas for the annual Scale the Strat stair climb fundraiser for the American Lung Association. The Wright Engineers’ climb team, dubbed the “Ninjaneers”, raised over $8,800 dollars – the second highest team total. The fleet-footed Ninjaneers also tallied the 11th fastest team time overall. “It was hard but worth it!” said Ninjaneer Tanya Carrazco of her first climb up the Strat. “I’ll definitely do this again.”
