CANstruction

canstruction-300x240

Wright Engineers teamed up with Robert Kubicek Architects to help build a giant-sized sculpture of a garden gnome created entirely out of cans of food as part of the CANstruction competition held in Phoenix. RKAA provided the creative design titles “Guard”ening Against Hunger and they, Wright Engineers, and others donated cans, materials, and labor to bring the design to life. CANstruction is a nonprofit organization that holds design and build competitions to construct fantastic, giant sized, sculptures made entirely out of canned food. After the competition ended, the sculptures were dismantled and the food was donated to St Mary’s Food Bank.
