Tye Havey, Wright Engineers vice president and director of Arizona operations and his nine year old son pounded the pavement at the Annual Ostrich Festival 5k fun run In Chandler, Arizona,. Out of 260 runners, Tye’s time placed him 4th in his age group and 12th overall with a time of 19:56. Tye also participated in the annual ‘Tour de Tucson” a 109-mile bicycle ride which raised over $1.6 million for several charities. As Tye put it, “Part of being happy is maintaining a healthy lifestyle.” Another key to happiness is giving of ourselves to others. When you can combine both of these and do something you love for a cause you believe in, it’s magical.
