Wright Engineers sponsors two scholarships each academic year to senior or graduate-level students whose focus is structural engineering. We’re please to announce the winners for the 2023-2024 school year.
Seth Abbott is pursuing a dual MBA/MS degree in civil engineering at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He earned his undergraduate degree at BYU-Idaho. He has worked in the industry as an intern for a year, and plans to become a licensed structural engineer and manage large projects after graduation. In his free time, Seth enjoys hiking, camping, and a good construction project.
Vicente Mejia is pursuing a MS degree in structural engineering from UCSD and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2024. After graduation, he hopes to work as a structural engineer and eventually become a licensed structural engineer. Outside of work and school, Vicente enjoys running, collecting trading cards, and cooking.
