Wright Engineers is pleased to announce that Brandon Quinton, PE has been named Director of Utah Operations.  A University of Utah graduate, Brandon’s journey with Wright Engineers began many years ago as an intern in its Salt Lake City office, and his new position showcases the firm’s commitment to developing its team members and promoting from within.

“Brandon’s promotion to Director of Utah Operations is a source of immense pride for us as a company. Watching him grow from a young intern to an accomplished professional engineer and leader has been very gratifying,” said Brent Wright, Founder and CEO of Wright Engineers. “His strong ties to the local community, combined with his leadership capabilities, make him well suited to spearhead our operations in Utah.”  Brandon will focus on managing business operations and will work closely with Mike Sutton, who was recently named Director of Engineering in Wright’s Salt Lake City office. With this new leadership, Wright Engineers is poised to further solidify its position as a leading structural engineering firm in the region.

The steel skeleton of a 3-story alien mothership is taking shape in Baker California.  When complete, the UFO Hotel will resemble an alien spacecraft that has landed in the California desert.  Themed hotel rooms within the spacecraft as well as dining and retail opportunities will give guests an out of this world experience during their stay.  Steeno Design Studio is the project’s architect.  Wright Engineers is proud to be the earthlings providing the structural engineering services for the project.
