When it’s 110 degrees outside and you’re 7 years old and suffer from medical conditions that limit your mobility and weaken your immune system, it’s tough to play and be active – especially outdoors. Sultan’s wish was for a play area in his backyard that protects him from the sun and the elements but still lets him feel like he’s playing outside. Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada partnered with Martin-Harris Construction and Simpson Coulter Studio to make Sultan’s wish a reality. In addition to recently celebrating the grand opening of Sultan’s playhouse, the project was also Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada’s 2,000th wish granted. Wright Engineers was honored to contribute structural engineering services for the project.
