WEARING RED TO FIGHT HEART DISEASE

February is American Heart Month, and on February 4th, Wright Engineers joined with thousands of others across the country on National Wear Red Day to spread awareness of women’s heart disease and stroke risks.  Cardiovascular disease is the number one health-related killer in women.  The good news is that 87% of heart issues are preventable.  By wearing red, we stand together with our affected sisters and brothers and encourage everyone to take preventative action for their heart’s sake.

 

AIR PARC HEIGHTS

Construction of Air Parc Heights industrial park in Henderson, Nevada is nearing completion.  The six tilt-up industrial buildings total about 330,000 square feet.  TWC Construction is the general contractor.  Lee & Sakahara is the project’s architect.

 

WRIGHT CEO PARTICIPATES ON PANEL

Brent Wright joined a panel of other experts to discuss the construction industry with 7th and 8th grade architecture and construction technology majors at the Lied STEM Academy in Las Vegas.  The students have been learning about various design and construction tools and potential careers in all facets of the industry.  The panelists shared what they do, how they got to where they are, and offered advice to students interested in construction-related design or trades.
