WRIGHT ENGINEERS NAMES NEW PRINCIPAL

Wright Engineers is proud to announce the promotion of Mitchell Miller, PE, to Principal in our Phoenix office. With both a BSE and MSE from ASU and over 14 years of structural engineering experience, Mitchell has been an integral part of our team since joining in 2019. His dedication to client satisfaction and to delivering projects that exceed expectations exemplify Wright’s values of professionalism and excellence. Outside of work, Mitchell is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking and playing basketball. He resides in Glendale, Arizona, with his wife, Laura, and their three children. Please join us in congratulating Mitchell on this well-deserved achievement!

KEY WEST LA CONCHA HOTEL

Renovations of the 160-room La Concha Hotel located on Duval Street in the heart of Old Town Key West have recently been completed. The $35 million renovation features a transformation of the lobby and other public spaces as well as upgrades to the exterior and guestrooms. The historic seven-story hotel opened in 1926 and was considered one of the finest hotels of its time. Famous guests who have stayed at the historic hotel include President Harry Truman, Al Capone, Tennessee Williams, and Ernest Hemingway. Wright Engineers is proud to have provided structural engineering services for the project’s architect and project manager, Premier.

STORAGE BUILDINGS NATIONWIDE

Wright Engineers’ storage facility building team, led by Paul Fleming, PE, has provided structural engineering for nearly 600 storage building projects across 31 states with a total floor area approaching 50 million square feet. The team is currently working on a two-story, 115,886-square-foot climate-controlled facility with a drive thru in Fort Myers, Florida. The project is being developed by Boxes Builders of Greenwood, Indiana with Heal Architect of Provo, Utah serving as the architect.
