Representatives from each of Wright Engineers’ five offices gathered in Las Vegas last month to accept the award for the nation’s #1 Best Structural Engineering Firm to Work For. The Best Firm to Work For award recognizes the top A/E firms in the US and Canada based on an anonymous survey and criteria such as workplace practices, benefits, and retention rates. “This is the fifth year in a row Wright Engineers has been ranked number one,” said CEO Brent Wright. “We know that it’s our great people who make Wright Engineers a special place, and this award is a reflection of what they do every day.” All Wright team members and their companion will celebrate the award and the company’s 25th anniversary on a Mexico cruise in November.

 

MOTHER DAUGHTER DYNAMIC DUO

In mid-August 2000, a bright-eyed baby girl entered the world. Three months later, her mother, Stephanie Hall, joined Wright Engineers as a structural engineer. And today, mother and daughter are co-workers in Wright’s Las Vegas office! Stephanie is still cranking out excellent structural engineering as she has done for the past 22 years, while Ashley is the Las Vegas office manager. Fittingly, Ashley started at Wright just after Mother’s Day 2021. While each of them has her own interests and hobbies—Stephanie is an off-roading enthusiast and Ashley is a talented artist who loves to experiment in different media—they get together often to attend plays and concerts and take woodworking classes.
