Construction is underway for a new 58,745 square foot facility at the Las Vegas Founders Academy campus in Las Vegas. The building will house a gym and cafeteria as well as classrooms and offices. Construction is scheduled to be complete by year’s end. LM Construction is the design-build general contractor. Wright Engineers provided structural engineering services.
Founders Academy of Las Vegas is a tuition-free Nevada public charter school serving students in grades K-12. Its mission is “to train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through a rigorous, classical education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue”.
14TH ANNUAL ANGELS GAME NIGHT
Wright team members, friends and family watched the Angels take on the Astros 2 to 1 in Anaheim on August 25th at Wright Engineers’ 14th annual Angels game night. The annual game night is one of the most popular company events of the year. “It’s always a great time for us to share some quality down-time and get to know our extended Wright family better”, said Scott Jones, VP and director of Wright’s California operations, “plus, you can’t beat the food!” This year Wright bought a nice little block of 50 tickets for employees and their families.
