Specs: Scott holds BS and MS degrees in civil engineering and a minor in business management from Brigham Young University. Scott is a licensed SE and/or PE in 41 states, Washington DC, and the US Virgin Islands. To complement his engineering experience, Scott worked as a carpenter early in his career working on both residential and commercial job sites. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California, an allied member of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, an associated member of the Building Industry Association of Orange County, and is active with HomeAid Orange County.
On the Job: Scott is a partner in the firm and oversees Wright’s Structural operations in California, as well as IT for the company. You are likely to see him out at trade shows and conferences creating loyal and mutually beneficial relationships for Wright Engineers.
After Hours: Scott loves all things connected to his family, building stuff, and the great outdoors. Scott and his wife, Annette have two daughters and two sons; a pair of nurses, one in college, and the last in high school. He loves spending time outdoors with them whether on a kayak, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, or just cruising a dirt road. A true engineer at heart, Scott loves to build and create. Woodwork, metalwork, construction—it is all good. He restored his high school car, a 1966 Mustang convertible, and a 1964 Jeep CJ-5 that belonged to his grandfather, and he is currently doing a retro-mod on a 1970 Chevy truck with his youngest son.
