WRIGHT ENGINEERS HELPS PROVIDE HOMELESS HOUSING

Groundbreaking for La Veta Village, a HomeAid Orange County-owned housing project, was held on June 21st, 2024. Located in the City of Orange, La Veta Village will provide multigenerational housing for families and seniors experiencing homelessness. The project is comprised of upgrading and renovating three historic buildings and includes adding a community center, community garden, and a new accessory dwelling unit to the rear of each home to double the number of families it can help. Wright Engineers is honored to have provided its pro bono structural engineering services for this important project.

NEW MEDICAL OFFICE COMPLEX

Construction of the Village Henderson, a medical office complex located on 12.5 acres in Henderson, Nevada within walking distance of the St. Rose Dominican Hospital is currently underway. The four-story 82,683 square foot medical office is the first of several buildings planned for the site. A second, larger medical office building is now in design. When complete, the development will also include restaurants and retail. Cuningham is the project’s architect. Korte is the general contractor for the concrete tilt-up shell. Wright Engineers is proud to provide the structural engineering.

WRIGHT ENGINEERS NAMES NEW PRINCIPAL

Wright Engineers is delighted to announce the promotion of Arrian Forbush, PE, to Principal in Wright’s Las Vegas office. A Las Vegas native, Arrian has been an invaluable member of Wright’s Las Vegas team since 2015. His expertise includes big box tilt-up industrial buildings, multi-story steel and concrete buildings, and retrofit of existing buildings for occupancy upgrades. When not in the office, Arrian enjoys being outside, whether it is hiking, snowboarding, exploring, hunting, or coaching his kids’ sports teams. He also enjoys playing the piano and guitar and spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their five children.

WRIGHT ENGINEERS PROMOTES NEW DIRECTOR

Wright Engineers is pleased to announce the promotion of David Riddle, PE, SE, to the position of Director in Wright’s growing Dallas office. David holds a ME degree in civil/structural engineering from Texas A&M University and has over 11 years of structural engineering experience. David is a former college baseball player, and enjoys cooking, woodworking, learning new skills, and being in the great outdoors. He and his wife, Julianne, and their family make their home in the Dallas area.
