Reno becomes our 10th office and our fourth new office in the past three years—an exciting milestone in Wright Engineers’ continued growth. We’ve been working in Northern Nevada for years, with numerous projects and frequent business in the Reno area, so establishing a local office is a natural next step as we continue expanding our presence and serving clients throughout the region.

BRENT WRIGHT FEATURED AT 2026 NCEES ANNUAL MEETING

Wright Engineers founder and CEO Brent Wright played a prominent role at the 2026 annual meeting of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), the national organization that brings together the engineering and land surveying licensing boards from across the United States and its territories. The meeting was held in Henderson, Nevada, in August. Brent currently serves as chairman of the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

As part of the meeting, Brent led NCEES leadership and members of the Nevada Board on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Stratosphere Tower, where he served as the original structural engineer. The following morning, he presented a 1.5-hour workshop, “Wild West on the Strip: Design and Construction of the Stratosphere Tower,” sharing the challenges, pivotal design decisions, jobsite surprises, and lessons learned from one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable landmarks.

Brent also welcomed delegates from across the country and U.S. territories to Nevada at the opening general session of the annual meeting.
