Each spring, Wright Engineers joins with about 1,000 others in a race to the top of the Stratosphere Tower to raise money for the American Lung Association. Climbers start every 40 seconds from the base of the tower and trudge up 1455 steps and 900 vertical feet to the 105th floor. Las Vegas Channel 3 News covered the event and interviewed Wright Engineers’ CEO Brent Wright the week prior to the climb for a feature story about the Stratosphere Tower’s original structural engineer coming back to climb the stairs again for a good cause.
