TROLLEY SQUARE OFF-CAMPUS STUDENT HOUSING

Located between downtown Salt Lake City and the University of Utah campus, historic Trolley Square was originally constructed in 1908 as the home of the Utah Light and Rail Company trolley car barns.  It has since been converted to a festival marketplace, and soon it will also be home to hundreds of students.  BKV Group Architects and Alta Terra Real Estate are designing a new 619 bed, 8-story luxury student housing project on 1.48 acres on the site.  The 363,753 square foot project will also include 3,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space and 336 parking spaces in a 3-level podium-style parking garage.  Wright Engineers is the project’s structural engineer.
