120,000 square foot addition to the existing Santa Maria Town Center Mall. Modeled after the old Santa Maria Theater, the addition is wrapped in a slumpstone veneer to match the historic look of the existing mall. The two-story building features new retail spaces on the first floor and a fourteen screen theater on the second floor. An area of the existing mall roof was removed to create an outdoor courtyard entrance for the theater.

The result is a roof structure that appears to float over the dining area and garden beyond. Wright Engineers was responsible for the structural design.
