Stratosphere Tower, Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, NV

The property’s signature attraction is the 1,149 foot Stratosphere Tower with a 13-story, 116,000 SF “pod” mounted atop an 800 foot-tall concrete shaft; tallest building west of the Mississippi. Wright Engineers’ CEO Brent Wright was the tower’s lead structural engineer while principal in a previous firm. Since then, Wright has been called upon to provide structural engineering services for a variety of renovations and additions to the tower and adjacent hotel and casino.

Porsche Experience Center Carson, CA

50,000 SF state-of-the-art experience center for the ultimate Porsche fans situated on 53 acres. The facility houses car display areas, car and parts storage, staff training, restaurant/kitchen, offices, and a conference room. The “experience” portion of the center includes a track with varied surfaces, a low-friction skid pad, a testing workshop, as well a science lab dedicated to maximizing athletic performance called the Porsche Human Performance Center. The project is pursuing LEED certification.

Ahern Convention and Hotel Las Vegas, NV

Formerly called the Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino, the property was rebranded in 2019 to the current Ahern Convention and Hotel. A 10-story, 201-room, Asian-themed hotel with an 18,900 SF casino and 446-space parking garage. Wright provided structural engineering services for both the original design and the renovations.
