The property’s signature attraction is the 1,149 foot Stratosphere Tower with a 13-story, 116,000 SF “pod” mounted atop an 800 foot-tall concrete shaft; tallest building west of the Mississippi. Wright Engineers’ CEO Brent Wright was the tower’s lead structural engineer while principal in a previous firm. Since then, Wright has been called upon to provide structural engineering services for a variety of renovations and additions to the tower and adjacent hotel and casino.

Winner of the 2013 Most Outstanding Projects by Utah Design and Construction Magazine and 2014 retail Project of the Year by the AGC Utah Chapter, Station Park Village Center in Farmington (just north of Salt Lake City) is a 900,000 SF open-air shopping center set against a breathtaking backdrop of snowcapped mountain and green fields.  The center includes a hotel, more than a dozen restaurants, grocery, office space, and retail stores.

Formerly called the Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino, the property was rebranded in 2019 to the current Ahern Convention and Hotel.  A 10-story, 201-room, Asian-themed hotel with an 18,900 SF casino and 446-space parking garage.  Wright provided structural engineering services for both the original design and the renovations.
